Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I tend to abhor business speak, so I would probably say "Let me know."

No, it needed business-speak. Just one of those times. But I reworded it into a much longer sentence which more explicitly put more on their plate.

It is possibly the biggest living thing on earth

I thought that honour went to a mushroom? Or maybe that was about terrain covered.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In the "Lame-ass Online Polls" category: [link]

Scroll to the bottom - you can vote yes or no to "Should atheists be barred from public office?"

After PZ's intervention, 'Yes' is only at 4%.

edit to fix....

Giant inflatable "sinking" Titanic for kids to play on....

Tommy, I think I'm going with "too soon", as a response.

I think I'd have the same reaction to a Vesuvius model.

Wow...that's...tasteless doesn't quite cover it now, does it?

So..... I'm the only one who found it hilariously funny, then?

Just checking.

Heh. Kids could pour Jello into the hollow spaces where "bodies" used to be....

Now tagless for your comfort.

I use "please advise" all the time and don't consider it all that passive agressive.

Tot-Tanic is indeed Taste-Less.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sean, on, like, Daily Show, I'd find it hilarious (and possibly in a different mood), but presented without irony, nsm.

This is an awesomely beautiful car: Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11 is one amazing-looking car

As far as concept cars go, they don't get much more futuristic than this. The Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11 is a concept car that looks straight out of a scifi movie. But this is real, and it's actually going into production, albeit a really limited production. We're talking a run of 25 to 50 cars, each of them costing more than your house.

Drat.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I was just watching the Titanic episode of Newsradio last night and wondering if anyone thought it was in poor taste.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that Tot-Tanic is tasteless AND funny.
