I need to remember that the ocean is Right There. It's all impressive and shit plus very calming with the waves and the white noise and the spray in your face.

Not an incapacitating freakout. Just a "NOT RIGHT! WRONG! TOO HIGH! BIZARRO!" mental commentary. It's intimidating, makes me want to flee to the nearest mountaintop, but not so much that I actually DO.
Gracie was just happy girl today. Lots of smiles and laughing and dancing and playing. She refuses to stay still. Visiting her was the high point of my day.

I had a similar reaction on a mesa in Arizona -- I could see too far, it was too flat, too brown, just Not Right.
