Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like I'm having to beat attention to detail into my newish minion. This makes me feel bad -- but not bad enough to send out shoddy work!

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Hi, all! First day back at school. Man, I'm exhausted. And I forgot how eerily quiet brand new classes are. I have a couple of classes where the kids all know me, so they're chatty, but the others are all staring at me silently. Freaky.

Turns out I like a little noise. Which would be okay except there are people tutoring over on the other side of my room, and I had completely forgotten about the teenage-boys-talking noise factor.

Oh, but I have four girls! That's four times as many as last year!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'll get to it when I finish the seven other things on my plate, until then you can suck it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's just that no one else could afford to run the final like a heat.

He *jogged out* in 9.93 in a freaking WORKOUT run. Ran for 50m, then jogged out.

I remember when 9.93 was an unbelievable time for an actual race.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, I knew that the way that printer was set up on my desk was stupid and now I know the full extent of the badness: in order to change the toner cartridge I have to pull it around so that I cannot see the printer menu on front of the machine. It's a giant lj 4500 and you put the toner cartridges in back and then press something on front to move the cartridge to the next one that need changing. So annoying.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Good to know, thanks beth, I'll check it out. I'm thinking about blogger just because it works with gmail and the uni has some new setup for students on gmail. It looks fairly straightforward, but I need to create a blog of my own first I suppose, make sure it's easy to post to.

As far as I can tell, everyone can suck it today. SUCK IT.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As far as I can tell, everyone can suck it today. SUCK IT.

I vote this.

My head feels like someone is trying to drive a truck through it. I think my Excedrin is broken.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm thinking about blogger

Burrell, I've used blogger before and it worked well for me.

Happy first day of school, Emily!!
