Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

How strong must these divers' toes be to be able to hang themselves off the ends of the springboard like that.

Facebook is freaking me out. Thanks so much, Jesse! Part of the ambivalence comes from reconnecting with folk who are all multiple jobs, married and have kids now. Which is great. But I'm all "yep, still in B'more, I like it here. New to me job 1 year ago. " Uh. It isn't a competition, but I don't feel very, well, interesting. It is kind of silly of me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Black and brownish specatators with questionable wedge heel, just for jesse. Not my fave, but I love fluevog. Both spectators I have are fluevog and they are comfortable and beautiful (pink + burgundy!)

Women's Track Aw, now I love Lolo. 'Cause she reflexively hugged the silver medalist in the middle of her interview. Good for her. And I loved the winners -- every one of them was so cheerfully LOOSING IT. Awesomesauce.

I just love Shawn Johnson. I want to squeeze her little cheeks and go "cootchie-cootchie-coo."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So maybe I should have made it Death is not an option, instead of FCM.

YA THINK???

Death is not an option: Margaret Thatcher, Condi Rice, or Elizabeth Dole?
