Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How about really cute Marc Jacobs pumps then. Only $474.

Bargain!

“Not dead yet!”

I've been looking for a spectator for fall, but succumbed to the lure of these pumps, but in dark grey suede. Which means, of course, that I still have to look for spectator pumps.

Also, just returned from 6th grade orientation. Never have you seen so many depressed looking children surrounded by so many ecstatic looking parents. It's all good though-- Nate's teachers all seem cool and the band director has got the perfect philosophy for beginning band, so that's reassuring for the almost-was-a-band director in me. He's also cheered by the fact that even in math they're required to read novels.

I have just fallen in love with this purse. Mostly the Kelly green colour:

HA! I have a different Cole Haan purse in that same green. It's awesome. I'm looking forward to cooler weather so that I can wear it with my navy trench coat.

I am covetous Kristen. Very covetous.

The new Vogue is too heavy to hold while reading. I had to use a pillow to prop it up on my lap.

I decided that wanted to carry my green bag the other day and then realized that I packed it last week. It was a sad moment.

The September issue is always ridiculously big. (As opposed to August which is roughly the size of a supermarket flyer.) It's like the Encyclopedia Fashionista.

Same with InStyle. Need to go pick up Vogue.

I love the September fashion magazines. I have Elle and Vogue so far.

Not to be found in Elle or Vogue, but I think I must have this pendant: [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

That Cole Haan bag is to die for!

I stopped buying gap t-shirts a long time ago because they seemed way too thin and unstructured to me. Only, every other tee I've tried (Eddie Bauer, Lands End, Target, etc.) have been too short (and I'm short waisted!). I always ended up showing the small of my back or worse.

However, I got two gap tees when I was in San Francisco and realize that they are LONG enough to cover me in yoga class! I need to order more. They are only $12.50 when you order two or more.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
