I love the horses in events-- they seem, I don't know... so much more real than racing thoroughbreds. I love that these horses aren't considered in their prime until they're in their teens.

Thoroughbreds muscle up nicely by the age of 10. So even the thoroughbreds seem more substantial than the racehorses. Of course, some of the dressage horses look like they could actually carry a knight in armor. (The Brazilian rider's Lusitano for example.)

They do, I think though that some of the muscling up is due to dressage which is a muscle building thing. (I think that if a race horse stays racefit s/he probably isn't going to get that big.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
Crap -- is it possible to have a migraine without an actual headache? Suddenly I'm nauseous and shaky and have that migraine eye-socket feeling, if anyone know what I mean.
And I have a meeting with the Big Boss in 15 minutes. And I don't think the sick feeling is related to the meeting.
I almost wish I would actually throw up at this point.
