I look more rad than Lutheranism

Watching swimmers racing fly always makes my rotator cuffs hurt just a little.

I'm freezing and today is marathon meeting day...all in cold rooms.

According to Wikipedia, Butterfly was born out of Breast:

Because breaststroke was too annoying? (I can't help it; the endless bob bob bob of breaststroke makes me want to drown myself to avoid it.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

OMG, fuck you MSN for spoiling me YET AGAIN.

C'mon NBC, tighten that grip -- I can't go all day not checking my effing email.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And for everyone who likes gift lists and maintains them for family/friends. Kaboodle.com

My mind immediately still goes to those make up tackle boxes from the '80s. I had a purple one. My BFF had pink.

The website looks like a place that I could lose hours if I wasn't careful.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I was up until 2am writing chapter three. Which is done! I am done. I am TIRED, but I am done.

At least with the draft. Now I need a bit of spanish translation, WIP readers, proofing, and then I can put it to bed and onto chapter four. Moving right along.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'll never be able to do the butterfly -- I can't clear my sinuses fast enough to not choke on water as I'm trying to breathe (even with opening my mouth at the above water moments). It's only strokes that keep your head above water for me, alas.

Same here - I'm good at backstroke and sidestroke, but as soon as I have to put my face in the water? Fuhgeddaboutit.

Yay, Allyson! Buzz me if you need Spanish translation help.

Now that skating proposal is off to Agent Kate, I have to get my head back into 1964/65 New York and Los Angeles. I believe some period music and skimming through some magazines is in order.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Balloon Jesus. Actually, a number of Balloon Jesuses.

I like this comment:

For the first time ever I think I kinda understand the Muslim prohibition on "artistic" depictions of the Prophet.
