They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Swouncing

The one thing that has to be perfect tonight is the abstract. I still have to integrate the various corrections I got from generous Buffistas.

soon it will be over and you'll feel like a tremendous weight has lifted from you.

How will I be able to go to sleep every single night? I don't think I'll know what to do with all that time!

Of course, once I hand it, tomorrow this morning, I'll have to run home and finish grading the exams that are waiting for me for two weeks (they were angry at me last week for not handing in the grades already.

Grading seems like such *fun* right now, I can't even begin to tell you.

You'll get there, Nilly. And it will be fine.

Did y'all see the Jamaican Bolt's race? WF Holeesheet! Ecstatic celebrating and he still beat the record!!

Watching the women's marathon now. It's kind of a tradition. Dad used to watch them faithfully and once won a Runners' World contest by identifying Joan Benoit and Mary Decker(?)'s sillhouettes.

ION, I got a tv tray for the laptop after my back started twinging after using it on my lap. Reserving judgement.

Also had to buy a locking gascap. Someone or something bent the hinge of the door on it, and after I managed to get it open, it won't close. It's all off kilter. I figure I'll get something from salvage. It looks like there's some torn metal so I can't even bend the hinge plate. It's all on the door's hinge. At least now I don't have to worry about someone siphoning my tank.

Nilly, I am confident that you'll get it done. I know it's a drag now, but it will get better.

Dinner tonight was roasted pork with lentil stew (I didn't have coriander nor do I have curry, so I used ginger, ground chipotle, and cumin). For dessert, I made peach and strawberry ice cream with ginger cookies.

Happy tummy!

Now we're watching the Long Way Down (love EWAN!)

I got a tv tray for the laptop after my back started twinging after using it on my lap.

I have a little lap desk, which is good and a TV tray which is less stable than I'd like.

The tv tray is a little high. The lap desk...I didn't go that route because it was my posture with anything on my lap that was the problem. I was reclining in a bad way. Pillows might be a solution. As to the height issue, I may saw off parts of the tray's legs.
