Canada finally won a medal! Three medals! A gold and a bronze in woman's wrestling (two different wight classes), and a silver in rowing.

I just got home from the farmers market, put my coffee down, unpacked by groceries. Then couldn't find my coffee. After looking in every room in the house, I finally found it, then managed to spill it all down my front. Clearly my coffee doesn't want to be drunk.

Got up waaay too early for a Saturday to bring the cats in for their annual checkup and shots.(Luna led us a merry chase all over the house before we got her in the carrier. Nova was easily picked up and placed in her carrier.) Waiting on the bloodwork results, but otherwise they seem to be healthy(if a bit pudgy) cats.

Oh, he's one of those. I went to university with a very swishy guy who was allegedly straight and religious, and totally hitting on my male friends. Now he's a married to a woman, and an Anglican priest. Whatever.

OK- I seem to have hit some gayboy highschool jackpot on facebook and now I have 7 more friends! I am beginning to realize my lack of any sort of dating in high school/college was due to the fact that I didn't actually know any straight male people.

Didn't skip this time! Trying to put off going to the ER, and I really don't have anything vaguely sensible to stop me. Hopefully there I'll be safe from being spoilt for the 100m men's.

Oh and I remind myself - last week sometime the color commentator for Equestrian mentioned that the Equestrian events were one of three where men and women compete together - what are the other two? Are there mixed doubles in tennis and/or badminton? Do they do mixed teams in volleyball?
