You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

A new dryer may be more efficient, particularly if it has a moisture sensor and a cool-down period, both of which save energy. The price of scrap metal is such today that the old dryer will almost certainly be recycled

Hmm, that's promising.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Not a tiny one, mind you. A *manly* one.

It's not the size of the tricorn, it's what you do with it...

Sue - I'd tell him no thanks and he really shouldn't split them up.

I am starving. Already had a plate of tomato and mozz.

Holy crap -- I just watched the L&O based on the Lisa Steinberg case (and I had to look her up because it's been so long and there have been so many famous dead children since then), and at the end, they explictly said that "while it may remind you" of the Steinberg case, the mother in that case was aquitted and there was no evidence she had been involved with the abuse. I don't remember them ever naming the headlines from which the case had been ripped.

Yikes.

It's what I am leaning towards. But knowing this guy the little I do, I do know he's going to get rid of the cat. He's that selfish.

Sigh. I am paying bills. My oil bills are making me cry.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That Steinberg case episode was the first that was so directly ripped from the headlines (IIRC, it was from the first season), so they felt like they had to do the disclaimer. The sequel to that ep was nowhere near as creepy as the first one.
