Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

That said, I think the only two pieces I really like are the pea coat and the dress, but they are both lovely.

Those are what I like - the rest is too conceptual for me. (And I don't even know that I'd wear the dress, but I'd rock the coat.)

I think I also like the black zippered jacket but would need to see it in person to be sure. I really like the pea coat but then I realized it's nearly identical to a trench I own, just in a heavier fabric.

Punishingly Intricate

If Jilli needs, I'll probably be making a run down to our H&M on the day - I could pick up something for you, too. I fear no crazed fashionista.

hah! Thanks! With H & M I never know about sizing though. I always have to try on.

But -- those pants! They're not flattering. What am I not getting?

hah! yeah a dropped crotch is not flattering on anyone. I love the color palette and the polka dots and the dress & jacket that juliana liked too.

And I just like the idea of high-end designers making things that are affordable to the hoi polloi.

In other news of things I like! New pastry restaurant opening in my 'hood this weekend!!!

Did Dangerously Delicious Pies ever open?

It is open. I have...opinions about it. I think his sweet pies are too sweet. Except for the fruit ones. But he only was offering apple the night I went in and i really think he should have seasonal fruit pies! Come on! It's berry season!

but the apple pie was delicious as was the chicken pie I had (although cold in the middle, it reheated nicely though).

There is nothing from that collection that I am interested in. Dear H&M, I think you should do a special collection designed by Vivenne Westwood. THAT would be awesome.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, Kat, I meant to ask you -- did DonorsChoose ask you to vote for them in the Members Project, as a recipient teacher? I'm curious because I didn't get anything from them as a donor, but obviously they are kicking ass so far.

Jesse, yep! I assume so. I've been both a donor and a teacher, so it's hard to tell. I need to do another grant for teh rest of the books I need.
