Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

In the Netherlands he is accompanied by "Six to Eight Black Men" which is the title of the piece.

Oh, yes! And if you're bad, he beats you and steals your shoes? Or something?

Oh, but the Matilda stories make me smile.

rooster = cocorico

In Hebrew, it's "coocooricoo", but still.

It's definitely different in each language that *I* know of.

Hebrew dogs bark "hav hav". And Hebrew ducks quack "ga ga".

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Here's the full reading on youtube: [link]

EDIT: it looks like it's in three parts, but the other 2 parts are right there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In Peter Pan, the crowing in "I've gotta crow" is just er! er-er! er-ER!!

Our wings are not tired.

The last thing that made me smile?

duck = Aflac!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Singing at the gym verboten or not? I forgot ny headphones and a woman two machines down was singing VERY LOUDLY and VERY off key (she was wearing headphones). I could only stand it for ten minutes before I just walked away and ended my workout.

This discussion reminds me of a survey my favorite Israeli film site did, when the transformers movie was released. They asked what was the sound they did when changing from robots into whatever-it-is-they're-changing-into. They had all these options, IIRC, 5 or 6 of them, all just like the ones we keep writing above for roosters and ducks and stuff. The last option on the survey was "you're all out of your mind".

Coding and Sleeping

From listening to Fenris, I've translated "Arf! Arrr-ooooooo-arr-ooo-ooo-ooo Arf!" from the Beagle dialect of Dog to translate to English as "Hey sissy squirrel, come down here and I'll open a can of whoop-ass on you."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I could only stand it for ten minutes before I just walked away and ended my workout.

You know, hitting people counts as a workout too....
