From what I remember them saying about her personality, it wasn't just looking either.
Oh yes, I felt quite bad for her at Sydney. There was a stuff-up with the vaulting horse, they had it 5 cm too low or something, and of course that threw off her routine. They found it and fixed it, and offered a do-over to the gymnasts who were affected, but she was already too upset.

Umm, I saw a profile on that weightlifter on the ABC news Saturday night and I'm pretty sure that they did one of their "spotlights" on her on NBC this morning.

I don't like floor exercise because it's become so discordant with the music, which makes me crazy.
I always thought if Khorkina had been a figure skater, she would've been the perfect match for Sasha Zhulin in ice dance in terms of mutual arrogance.
I just want to know who decided those crazy hand figures were "pretty."
