Oh no, Isaac Hayes.
Jesse, how is your father doing?
He's OK, thanks for asking. Although he had a low heart rate incident earlier, so he's in for another night and more tests tomorrow.
Isaac Hayes, too?
Have I reached the age where it seems like everyone is dying? Or is there just more dying lately?
I have eaten yummy lentil and sausage stew and cornbread and my meds are starting to kick in and my cat is giving me a massage, so things are better. My cat came declawed, and when she kneads my shoulders it feels like a massage.
I think there's more dying. These guys are not seeing their four score and ten.
Mmmm, lentil and sausage stew sounds delicious.

I'm so loving this cous cous salad I made on Friday, I think I'm just going to make it again, rather than find other things to do with the leftover ingredients. Mmmmm.
It was really good. It was this recipe, except I didn't have carrots. Also mine is a lot thicker. But it is GOOD. I have to freeze some before I get sick of it, though.http://economicalmeals.blogspot.com/2008/06/lentil-soup-with-cornbread.html

Hub and I were just having this conversation a bit ago when I told him about Isaac Hayes.
Jesse, what's in the salad? I love couscous, and need some stuff I can premake for lunch or for when I get home late at night this week.
It's got olives (two kinds!), tomatoes, feta, parsley, and just lemon juice and olive oil. Delish.
Ooh, and that stew looks yum, too!
