Is Tyler too close to Trevor for two characters in the same book?

Trevor is a continuing secondary character, and Tyler is a new secondary character, but Tyler's getting mentioned a lot. Thoughts?

I think too close. It wouldn't work for people like me who zip names and therefore think that Noise Design and Nora Deidre are the same person.
