Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

The characters are back where everything started now. Well, not exactly where everything started, but close to it.

So instead of arcs, they have helices?

Herding cats for fun

Yes, all my characters have helices, not arcs. It's like their DNA.

Pretty much, it's back to chapter 3 instead of chapter 1, but that's pretty close.

I crawling through 48 right now as I'm trying to work stuff in. Things should get better when I hit the end of 48 to beginning of 49.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

My book review was accepted for publication! This, my first academic piece in a real journal, will probably be published in June. I am very pleased. Now to do something with the section of my dissertation that I want to try to publish. It's basically a lit review, which is boring in its current form. It makes good arguments from the literature it reviews, though, so it's worth me trying to find a way to keep it literature-focused. Hmm.

Thanks all! I should be pleased, rather than immediately worrying about the next thing, right? :D
