Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, we're all going to die.

Am I crazy to find it incredibly disheartening that my boss really doesn't know what my last name is? I guess I have to tell her explicitly, and not rely on the dozens of emails and etc. I send her every day. For the past year and a half.

I did just send my resume to a recruiter.....

Art Crawl!!!

We're getting a crazy winter storm apocalypse here today - made crazier but the 40+ degree weather this morning.

Yikes.

So excited by the Farscape news.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good god. The temp here is supposed to go from 46 to 2 today.

Jesse, some people are really just boneheads about things like that. But it's got to be discouraging. Feh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My friend in NYC is going to see Patrick Stewart in Macbeth in March. I hate her!

Farscape news is good news!

Punishingly Intricate

That would drive me crazy.

I thought I had sarameg's phone number so I could call and re-offer a ride this morning but I didn't and now I feel bad because she had to walk in the icy rain.

And I was having travel + work anxiety dreams this morning. I dreamt I had to share a shower (er...not shower at the same time...use the shower after) my cranky, annoying co-worker and he'd used my towel and left the room a damp mess! ew! Plus I had 40 minutes before my plane was to leave and i had to go back to my house from the airport to take care of my pets before returning to the airport for my flight. And I was flying to FL to give a presentation I hadn't practiced AT ALL.

It's been a very stressful day already!

Ooh, I might go to that! Apparently my friend's sister has first dibs, but if she can't go, I'm totally in.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I'm always having dreams about coming close to missing flights or rushing to make a flight or getting lost on the way to the airport, but I don't remember ever having a dream where I'm actually in a plane. I guess that part isn't very interesting to my subconscious.

Now I get to feel good about myself because I knew the IMDB quote:

ROGER
Now you listen to me, I'm an advertising man, not a red herring. I've got a job, a secretary, a mother, two ex-wives and several bartenders that depend upon me, and I don't intend to disappoint them all by getting myself "slightly" killed.

Walk wasn't too bad, but thanks! Of course, I haven't looked at what my hair has done...

I'll probably even be able to beg a ride off someone this evening if it is still raining. I don't actually mind the walk when the weather isn't crap.
