Jesse, I asked b/c I had done an evaluation of a judge in Queens for his reelection, for a Bar association. I was curious whether that was (a) the same judge or (2) the same court.
ita, I can't imagine how it prejudices the plaintiff to replace "may" with "will." It may keep the cops from being less than firm about it.

I asked the judge what he had learned in his four years on the bench. Direct quote: "A lot about myself...a lot about others." I put that in my report. Aha. Found what I remember from the UK:
The caution states that you do not have to say anything unless you wish to do so, and that what you say may be given in evidence at court.
The caution then goes on to warn you that it may harm your defence if you fail to mention anything at the police station which you later rely on in court.
