The Frontline special was fascinating. I felt angry on behalf of the kids for some portions, though.
Glad you caught it!
Mmrph. How can it be only wednesday? I'm so done with this week.

DO NOT YouTube your stupidity.
such a good lesson. NJmom may disagree - or feel 'left out' though.
sarameg - hope today is better than yesterday.
That mother had boundary issues, bigtime.
I wish I had been home to see the Frontline-- it sounds interesting.
I think I am overtired, because I just saw and In Memoriam post for Heath Ledger at icanhazcheesburger, which was a Brokeback Mountain LOLcat, and it made me cry.
Did anyone else watch "Life After People" on the History Channel? I've started The World Without Us and was interested in seeing what they'd do, but I was disappointed. And someone was way overdosing on the Dramatic Music.
I had sparkling shiraz last night and LOVED it! It wasn't too sweet at all.
oy am I tired today though.

We watched the first part. Way too overly dramatic. The fire thing bothered me because they made it seem like humans fight the nasty forest fires when, in fact, they're a perfectly natural part of the ecological process. Overzealous human fire supression is what causes the BIG, GIANT problematic fires by leading to a build up of undergrowth.

Darn! I read that book last year, and TiVoed Life After People for that very reason. Doesn't compare well?
I spent a couple weeks chasing down a piece of info (essentially a yes or a no), and finally reassured my boss the answer was no, and then one of the guys whose word I was taking just told my boss the answer was yes.
Way to go to undercut me, dude. Not pleased. Even beyond the looking bad in front of the boss, it indicates there might be a whole bunch of yesses hiding out there somewhere. And now I have to go yes hunting.

Wow, that was fast.
