I wasn't dreading going to work this morning. And then Dallas happened again. Oh, Dallas, why so bane of my existence?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, Dallas, why so bane of my existence?

t resists saying mean things about Dallas for DJ's sake

But rest assured that most of the rest of Texas dislikes Dallas, so you have lots of company.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I have a love/hate thing with Dallas. But yeah, the attitude of the people who run the place, and think they do kinda sucks.

On the other hand, if I were still back in Louisiana, I wouldn't have seen Sweeny Todd with the original actors from the Broadway revival nor would I be seeing Shostakovich this Saturday.

Swouncing

Dah-veed

Oh, exactly.

It's the name of one of my brothers. And it's completely different, to me, from Hec or knut's name (um, when they're not called "Hecubus" or "knut", of course).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have my typical turkey and brie.

Mmm, one of my favorite sandwiches. Coincidentally, I went to Chicken Out on Friday, ordered the turkey and brie panini. Got to the register and it was EIGHT DOLLARS. No side, no chips, no drink. 8 dollars for just a sandwich. And it was only okay. I mean, you can't really screw it up, but for 8 dollars, I want my eyes to roll back in my head.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry for work suckage, which I am also having. Blech.

I am SO happy about my friend Nancy, though!

Oy vey! At my place, even on Wall Street, it's seven bucks with chips, pickle, bottle of soda.

I am SO happy about my friend Nancy, though!

It's very cool! Way cooler then when I saw my mother's friend's name scroll by on the Grammys -- he had won for best liner notes or something, but no one ever said his name out loud on TV.

information libertarian

I have leftovers, which today is pasta with white beans and kale. I'm not actually that thrilled about it, but I am hungry.
