She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Now tagless for your comfort.

this is what we do when my parents aren't around.

It all starts out innocently enough, doesn't it? But then you get this.

Owen is watching the video and he said, "Aaawwwww! Baby Dylan! He's so cute."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heh. Fortunately we have 7 remotes that we don't use anymore (the Harmony he's playing with in that vid has replaced them all), which he can destroy to his heart's content.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We got the Harmony 1000 for our next remote. Owen will never touch it.

Speak to me, Natter! In recompense for our very first snow day, we have school today. Can't complain too much, since I did have Thursday and Friday off, but I do need Natter!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm at work.

I'm cold.

But I have a space heater and a Sausage McMuffin.

Good! Me, I'm pondering the wisdom of changing my lesson plan on the spur of the moment to discuss issues of technology, race, and class.

Probably not something that should be thrown together in the two hours before class, huh?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm thinking about getting up and doing things...

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm at work but due to exhaustedness and lack of a boss and motivation, I am mostly reading fic and doing homework.

Probably not on a Monday either.

IOWork news, there's some sort of corruption on a development database that I'm supposed to use. Plus a client is on vacation and his assistant left me a message asking for help (she didn't say what for).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm exhausted due to early rising kids. Feh.

We're getting more snow. It's supposed to be 3-5 inches today and it's still below zero.

I should really stop Olivia from biting the tips off of all her crayons, right?
