That is odd, Laura. Hmm.
The SO dreamed that we had to go to the reservation on the last day that our work team was here and when we came back they had put in little stairways to all the different rooms so that each room was at a different level. In the dream he was furious, and asked them, "Just what did you think we meant when we said we needed wheelchair accessibility?" and they said, "Well, you can still get in the front door." (Which is not true, the graded level entry to the front door is one of the things we lost when we switched from slab to crawlspace.) They had also carpeted a bunch of the rooms (it's actually all tile except the studio.)
I was amused at this particular manifestation of anxiety dreaming.
I'm having friends over and shall make a spinach-and-onion quiche, for fear of having no savories other than cheese. Good cheese, but still! Quiche! It has protein and vegetables!
It's a bit chilly out today, but not too bad. I had banana-walnut pancakes at my sister's house, which was nice: I never think to order pancakes when I go out to brunch (I'm an omelet and fried potatoes gal), and I never make them at home because they're so filling (and kind of a hassle). So it's nice to have them.
Okay, back to cleaning and cooking. Yay for having tomorrow off, too: I am loving this long weekend.
I had forgotten that this is a three day weekend!! How exciting! I wasn't going to go out tonight, but now that I can sit around and do nothing tomorrow, I may be motivated to leave my house today :)
Everyone who has tomorrow off is DEAD to me.
Everyone who has tomorrow off is DEAD to me.
Zombie Party! (Dana not invited)
I am apparently very far from dead. I not only work tomorrow but I'm at work now and was at work yesterday too. This weekend concept is foreign to me.
Everyone who has tomorrow off is DEAD to me.
Even I have tomorrow off! But it's my earned day off, not a holiday.
