Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Next time I'm in the States I'm making DH bring me to IHOP. I freaking love pancakes. How wrong is it I've never been?

I find IHOP's pancakes to be too heavy/gummy. The pancakes at the Irish bar just down the street from me, however, are a thing of fluffy beauty & wonder.

Punishingly Intricate

I had a former co-worker who had that thing that forces a reply to anything she sent but I think she defaulted to that thanks to the people that she worked for who never replied to anything.

I wish I could force people to respond! I hate it when I send something and the person I sent it to doesn't acknowledge that they got it. A simple "Thank you" is all I ask (or, you know, actual answers to my questions). It's called Manners, people!

ahem

Okay, I can be flexible. I'll try a selection of pancake places. We get pancakes one day a year here.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Last time I went to IHOP I had an omelette. I don't think any of the people I was with actually had pancakes.

you can make your own pancakes too!

Here's the pancake chain you want to try next time you're out this way (although I don't think they have any in New England):

information libertarian

I like pancakes, but prefer waffles, and I think I missed the sushi memo. I got started too late, I suspect.

It's sorority rush week here, which I'd forgotten but was reminded when I ran out to mail a package. The hair and makeup are out in force. I'm surprised the world didn't end in a matter-anti-matter explosion when I brushed too close to one of the throngs of women.

Absolutely. If she has just sent her request, I would have replied "no problem,I'll send it when I get it" But, forwarding a request from her boss with "please reply to him by email and copy me" gets NOTHING from me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you can make your own pancakes too!

They're so simple it's barely worth using a mix (I guess if you want to get around the buttermilk-having, but still).

Here's the pancake chain you want to try next time you're out this way (although I don't think they have any in New England) like them, and

Nom nom nom.

I do make pancakes, but DH doesn't like them and I never feel like there's much point making them for myself. I used to cook them every Saturday morning for all my hungover friends.
