Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

She was supposed to be Bellatrix, but had to drop when she got up the duff. Or so I heard somewhere.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The Speed Racer trailer I saw at the theaters was Fucking Awesome.

Yeah, I've seen the trailer. There was a monkey.

Visually it was just so spectacular.

It's the Wachowskis!

Also Cristina Ricci looked supercute as Trixie.

She also looks cute with a pig nose.

I'm interested in Matthew Fox as Racer X. That looks fun. Evil Jack!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Helen McCrory

She was originally set to star as Bellatrix then became pregnant with Lewis' baby, which is why that role went to HBC. McCrory is a fine actress, but I have trouble imagining her as an icy blonde. The last movie of hers I watched was as Tony Blair's wife in The Queen.

Yes!! I need to find my darned copy.

I need to re-read (Lord knows why), but Voldemort isn't in HBP much, is he?

Compassionately intolerant

Frank's whitefont caused me to blurt a cynical "hehheh" outloud.

Not Fiennes-aged Voldemort, but we see him at various points in his youth and young adulthood.

I just rewatched The Queen over the weekend; it's available (in widescreen!) on Comcast OnDemand through the Encore section.

Just might have to do that.

Thought so. They aren't going to not have Ralph for DH.

Art Crawl!!!

Keeping it all in the family - aren't they having Fiennes' nephew as the young Voldemort?
