Okay, that link is serious freakin' cool. First thought - scrolling right back, movies show far far far less early peaking, but stay around a lot longer (the classic example is Top Gun, right at the beginning). Contrast to recent years, where they peak massively, then disappear much much quicker.
Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Juno won best screenplay at the Oscars. Woo!
Well, that was a given.

!!!!!!!
I had absolutely no idea they were making a second X Files movie.
Fanbloodytastic!
...so this would be an excellent time to buy & (re)watch all the seasons of the show, wouldn't it?
Saw 4 months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days this weekend. REALLY amazing film, with a complex, strong and believable female protagonist. It's set in Romania during Ciacescu (or however you spell it)'s reign. Dark but SO well done.
