Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
That's the first time I've seen it, Aimee. Looks very cool!
Thanks, P-C. Dear lord, I actually think I'm looking forward to that..
Indiana Jones and the Incredibly Clunky Title teaser trailer!!!
GAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I was going to a movie tomorrow night (and hadn't seen anything since I Am Legend over the holidays), should I see Juno or Cloverfield? Keeping in mind that even shaky-cam doesn't make me nauseous, that is.

See, I thought there'd be more of that.

Er. I'm not sure you could pick two more different movies. They're both good for completely different reasons. So...depends on what you're in the mood for. You're probably not cool until you see Juno, though.
I just really want to see both, is the thing. I think I was wanting some definitive "you must see this first!" vote.
Hmmm.
Oh. I did see P.S. I Love You, too, for JDM's ass. That was nice.
I think Cloverfield will be much more dependent on being seen in a large first-run theater, so I'd recommend that.

Well, Juno will play fine on a small screen, and it also isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Cloverfield is best watched on a big screen with a receptive audience.
