Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

At some point in the future, I wonder how much these two are going to HATE the fact that their daily life has been exposed on the internet?

I ask myself that question a lot.

Noah's big cloth butt tickles me pink, by the way.

I wonder that, too. I might get lucky and they'll be exhibitionists and won't care.

I'm partial to Noah in the boppy.

I think that many of their friends will have had similar exposure and that the other children will be saying to their parents, "Why wasn't I on the internet? Didn't you love me?"

Ginger, I think you're right.

The status is NOT quo.

Besides, the Buffista kidlets will all be talking about their weird parents to their friends online, too. It's genetic. Or environmental.

I know I've read this article about what happens when good online communities go bad. In fact, I bet I followed a link from here.

It's really nothing new, except this line

Many's the time I've found myself neglecting a warm bed, a hot meal, or a chance to go out for a cup of coffee with a friend in order to answer some mean-spirited note from some 16-year-old mouth-breather who achieves transcendence only through pointless debate with strangers.

totally cracked me up in a too-close-to-home way since I can't. let. things. go. when I should.
