Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm doing a reading at Comicon. Whoot!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have a chocolate cupcake for breakfast.

I had Nervous Nellie's blueberry preserves on my English muffin this morning, and today's free lunch is being catered by Shiok!. Those things both make me happy.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm doing a reading at Comicon.

Whoah.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I don't know the schedule. The SoCal Browncoats have a room there for stuff, and a bunch of events scheduled. They were kind enough to give me a bit of time. Really generous of them.

I think it'll be on Sunday.

paperdol, right on!!!! Oh, I finished the book Tuesday (I made myself read slowly) it was wonderful!! I loved it a lot. I have already loaned it to my mom, since she's still got the "axe murderers populate the internet" mindset, but to cut her some slack she's almost 70, it's a great read and it'll be informative as well as entertaining for her. Sent a copy to my brother in England and pimped it to my cousin and a few cool work pals!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm doing a reading at Comicon. Whoot!

YAY!!! I finally got the book Tuesday, started reading it last night, and then had to put it down so I could assemble my new comfy chair and ottoman so I could finish reading it in the luxury it deserved. I also have pictures of it in it's wild habitat (the B&N), where it was shelved next to some Lord of the Rings book. That made me laugh and laugh and picture your book teasing the other book about the filthy hairy-footed people in it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was toying with Comicon, and I'd really like to see my friends strut their stuff, but I think I'll avoid the crazy and make do with stories.

I just bcc-ed someone on an email and she replied to everyone on it. Now I'm all embarassed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just bcc-ed someone on an email and she replied to everyone on it. Now I'm all embarassed.

Oh god, I've had people do that. So embarassing! Now I just re-forward more often.

I mean, I was supposed to be dealing with the issue all by myself! Of course, she knows more about it than I do, but I swear I was doing okay.

Needless to say, my boss was one of the recipients--he was the person who asked me the question in the first place.

I will be adopting your resolution, Jesse. The FYI forward.

Dear lord. I started up a migraine blog, and I'm stunned by how much I keep thinking to write. Yoinks.
