Then we both started singing it to the Mnah-mnah song. Phenomenon, do-DO-do-do-do.
I do this all the time with that word. Made science class..interesting.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

That's my ringtone. The original Muppets singing, even. I live to earworm.
I need to change my ringtones. Currently my theme is old TV. My wallpaper is a TV showing Crockett & Tubbs, and various groups ring as Hawaii 5-0, Miami Vice, Benson, and for my dear family members, Soap.
Before that it was James Bond. Next will be Sci Fi, I think.
Except for the one friend that gets the Profit ring tone. I don't think I can ever change that, no matter what theme I have.
My head hurts massively. I so need to go home.
But first, work. Actual me-being-useful work. It's been a hell of a learning curve, and I haven't scaled the thing completely, but it's starting to make more sense and I can confidently make decisions and initiate activities by myself.
My ringtone is Elvis Costello. I don't even know what I'd change it to.
Oooh, maybe when football season starts I'll find a clip of "Are you ready for some footbaaaaaaal!?!"
I want to pull my hair out right now, as I am trying to write a functional job description for a proposed promotion.
Promotion = good. Dealing with job descriptions = PITA. I recently had our newish HR person freaking out over the fact that a position got a new title without any significant changes to the job description. The problem is, when it's still the same job, what do you do?
I'm pretty sure structures nearby are getting hit and there seems to be some hail out there.
I had a report of hail from my downtown friend. I hear a distant rumbling but it seems to have stopped here completely. We had some power fluxes too.
Doesn't seem like it will be an issue with today's storm but I really hope the parking lot I use isn't one of those Fell's Point places that likes to flood. Nobody here has mentioned it but that is an issue with this neighborhood.
I have no ring tones, but it occurred to me today that my most deeply loved tv shows have theme songs that I adore. Angel, Boomtown, Jonathan Creek (classical!even).
Bartleby is curled up between my legs...and has been velcro dog all day. I've never considered him storm averse, but today, he's right underneath me every second.
There is mucho thunder, yo.
While you guys are having heatwaves, yesterday I saw someone dressed in what looked like a winter coat! I mean it's cold, but it's not that cold!
The Office Manager went out to Ikea to pick up a cabinet for our new hire's office. When she asked if we needed anyhting else, I answered, as I ALWAYS do, hey, bring me some Swedish Meatballs.
Well, she did! A whole meatball, new potato, lingonberry extravaganza!
Also, when looking through job descriptions of other positions that are the same level (Administrative Assistant), we came across one that said you needed a BS in Law... is there even such a thing as an undergraduate degree in Law?
It's not uncommon in Europe, and found also in Canada. (Possbily only Quebec?) I don't think it's the same thing, though, since this is basically the same as a J.D. here (only with less "degree inflation", they would say).
