Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jen K seems unamused by Boston's vegan options. (She had a lot of fun when she was in New York.)

She does seem to appreciate the true Vegan restaurants when she gets the chance.

Seems weird that Boston has none, though.

Which one?

Darby's. One friend describes Darby's as a "vegetarian greasy spoon".

Shit's all sorts of different now.

One more Midwesterner checking with the "ant" or "ant-ie" pronunciation.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I also say "ant-ee" although it's is probably closer to "aynt-ee", if that makes sense.

My kids were quite the pistols today. Isaac is such a two year old!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Darby's must be new!

Okay, fine, so I haven't LIVED there in almost a decade, but back then, we had to walk uphill in the snow both ways to hit Saigon Rendezvous or Urban Onion!

Where is it, and is it worth checking out?

The status is NOT quo.

I say "aunt" with an "ahn." New England, me?

P.S. This crazy vertigo dizziness can go away ANY TIME NOW. If I'm going to have the spins, I should at least have had the fun of being drunk earlier.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

People mock me because I liked the cutlery discussion, yet this Aunt thing comes up all the time.

Hmmph.

Disturbingly my fingers keep typing words I'm not thinking.

I did not almost faint at any time out! Very exciting.

And dinner was the most I've eaten in weeks.

I feel almost sane, and given last week, that's a fucking miracle.

Saw Transformers which was the funniest movie I've seen in forever--not sure how on purpose that was (see, purpose tried to come out purple...I don't know what's up with the fingers).

Yeah, please be careful about that. They had a horrible cautionary tale about a local musician who passed out in an isolation booth while recording and did grievous damage to himself.

Position cushions around yourself and aim for the bed! Stay away from mic-stands!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If you need any extra throw-pillows for cushioning, I have a chairful I'd be happy to send westward.

I caught a Showtime pilot for a show called Filthy Gorgeous starring Isabella Rossellini and that guy who's going to play the lead on New Amsterdam. It lived up to its title, but was good trashy fun. And Zeljko Ivanek has apparently aged about two decades since I last saw him on The Inside. I'm hoping it was fiendishly effective makeup, because cancer and AIDS are the only other things I know of that would make that kind of difference in someone's appearance so quickly.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ooh, thanks for the veggie restaurant links -- I'm especially excited about the vegan pizza, which I could in theory have (if they don't have too much rice flour, anyway).

Now if there was only a vegan bakery....
