Natter 52: Playing with a full deck?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It looks like it could be pretty outside, eventually. I managed to leave home without my wallet or my iPod, both of which I needed.
The basic idea is to venture out again after showering; buy a Bluetooth headset, Eureka DVDs (still weird), linocut supplies and some Mario Badescu frippery.
Basic idea.
I also have tennis on the TiVo. And a powerful urge to nap.
ooooh. nap. I have an ENT waiting for me to sign papers at a hospital. But I am busy with the internets and with the breast pump and with life. So I guess Mr. Doctorman will have to wait.
ita, I wish someone other than your neuro could coordinate your care more clearly because then it might be more coordinated. Like some sort of chronic pain nurse practitioner or someone.
Sigh.
Confirmed sighting in Milwaukee! [link]
Five copies - I bought one and turned one to face out on the shelf. (The rest are food?) They didn't have a table for humor, that I could find anyway.
Whoot!
Other random bits of Buffistadom that popped up in my world this weekend: walked into a local bar and they were playing Lucero. The bartender was from Memphis and was happy to gush with me.
Also, on the highway yesterday, I saw a man in a shiny new convertible with the tag KDNY TRPT, which made me think about Suzi's mom and Sean's S and how much I hope they get to enjoy their second chances ASAP.
I think I would only be able to order Shut the Hell Up for other people... So I could say, "Here's a nice big glass of Shut the Hell Up!"
Now that I think about it, that's probably why they named it that!
I am bummed that my nano has died by drowning in the wash, thus rendering my exercise and pool lounging time unmusical. But it prompted me to hie myself to B&N, where the staff immediately recognized the book I was asking fo rand made me a proud new recipient of Vampire People goodness. Which I then pimped to my friends C and M over lunch. I'm up to page 141, and enjoying it immensely.
I don't have a good feel for how much sense unfamiliar readers will have with the community of places like The Bronze though—having been a part of it, I can't tell what (if any) gaps I'm filling in.
I have no Vampire book yet. I need to fix that when I can.
I'm in JFK, waiting for 2.75 hours to pass, so I can finish flying home. Vacation was great, but I am ready to be home now.
(Also, I skipped over 1000 posts, so I hope someone will fill me in on anything important)
I wasn't a bronzer and I didn't feel like anything was missing
Lee!
Scola, were you the one that told me about the "eat Cheetos with chopsticks" trick? It's brilliant.
