This is oddly like cooking a meal with a new recipe and watching people's expressions while they eat it.
I sincerely hope no one gets the runs tomorrow.
DH finished - he said wow
actually what he said the first time was something along the lines of "that rocked like a rocking thing with a side of rocking sauce"
So I think this was a recipe for success , paperdol
"one of television's leading cult fan gurus"
I love the idea that there are a lot of these. Okay, maybe there are, but still...great quotes on the back of the book.
Okay, so it's patently obvious I'm trying not to read more of the inside, right? I just finished "The Misery Effect" and I think the rest will have to wait until tomorrow.
I'd say give in , but ...my book , like pie is gone.
I have a good DH - He knows I am falling asleep, yet he is not trying to insist that I put the internets away
You know, I just realized a place to pimp the book for a mention is Boing-Boing, which is interested in all kinds of internet social-networking and geekery. I'm not really here, I have to run out to Readercon soon. Going right from Maine to the con is not so great in terms of physical exhaustion, et cet. -- I thought my back was going to fall off yesterday, it hurt so much. On the other hand, the great time spent with friends and/or attending great panels made up for a lot of it!
Bah -- Amazon won't let me review The Book because it's not released yet. I gave it five stars anyway.
In Maine. Want book. Book in New Hampshire. Family want beach. Family bad. Book pretty.
I'm going to Maine next weekend! Of course, I have no idea exactly where, and I'll apparently be sharing a bed with my grandmother, but I'm still looking forward to it.
