I sent out my pimpage and already was informed that's how one friend is spending part of her B&N gift cert.

So...Noah's having a cranky stinky day, huh? I was happy to share the news of his soon-to-be-homeness to the friend above. I can't wait for the first time you get to lie in bed and stare at him with no personel interruptions. Just a quiet moment. Well, unless he's talkative.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I have achieved Vampire People book. Found it at the BU B&N. It was upstairs in the humor section, and not in the "New Releases" or "New Authors" section much to my annoyance (and there were only two copies when I grabbed mine).

However...when I met a couple I know for dinner, I showed the wife the book, who found it interesting and noted, "Oh yeah, I think I saw it on a table in there when I went in for a coffee at the Starbucks." Which is on the first floor. So either I missed it, or it HAD SOLD OUT FROM THE TABLE!!!

Read the first few chapters (after skipping ahead to read the ita and Nilly chapters) and I love it. The Nilly chapter made me all teary again.

In conclusion, paperdol rocks and is a kickass writer.

So what happens if "Vampire People" becomes a cultural catchphrase?

ETA - per an EW review, if it's going to be in the print version, it's not in the new issue (which was in my mailbox when I got home). Maybe it will be closer to wide release date.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

If no one tells me what they're going to do, I'm not going in.

So the doc still hasn't drawn up a plan of action for you?

I'm still buzzing about the book, but won't get to read it until after the kids are in bed.

OK, I do not email an old highschool friend who I've googled after getting a bounced email these days after 4 years, right? Especially if I'd had the tiniest, sminiest, weensiest crush way back when, which I'd deny with a fist and a snort. RIGHT?

You're gonna need an alibi, aren't you?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh dear. I just don't know what to do with myself.
