Dammit, I'm going to have to go to a different bookstore to buy another copy, so I can be sure to ask many many employees where it is.
I told The Boy last night that when Vampire People is out, we'd have to go to all the bookstores in the area and make sure the book is prominently displayed. (I do that with all Buffista authors — I go to the section their book is in, and I either put it on an end display or just turn it so that the cover is facing out, rather than the spine facing out. Guerrilla marketing.)
Can you think of a better night?
Add in some pie and an impeachment, and I could die happy.
It has been raining here for 45 days. I just had it confirmed by NPR.
The rain will not, however, stop me from going out to get The Book. No siree.
Whoa. That's a lot of copies!
Cool! DH and i are off to the Burbank B&N to pick up our copy in a few minutes.
Flickr is taking a while to percolate their data. Scola and I are both the only person to use "vampire people" as a tag.
Damned internet, trying to make everyone feel special and shit.
Yay! You know what? I didn't look at the Humor section table.
I swear to god, trying to book a flight to San Diego for September is going to be the death of me. I can't believe that already, every time I turn around, it gets more expensive/less convenient. Could that be true?? If I dither some MORE, will it just get MORE expensive and/or LESS convenient? I'm going to cry.
I cancelled my Amazon order so I could go out and get my copy in person!
If I dither some MORE, will it just get MORE expensive and/or LESS convenient? I'm going to cry.
It will get both. The Uncertainty Principle has nothing on trying to book the cheapest plane ticket.
