This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

That's a three year overlap.

We are the Overlapped.

We are the Dispossessed.

Or something appropriately Ginsburg-esque.

I think that ESPN isn't covering Wimbledon at all tomorrow

Then I guess I'll be watching NBC all day tomorrow? Better check the listings when I get home...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I made a Flickr tag. Let me show you it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a headache from trying to talk to credit bureau people and credit card company people. Not an ita-style headache, of course, just a kind-of-ruined-my-awesome-Summer-Friday-afternoon headache. So fucking aggravating.

Awesome!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I second sarameg's sentiment.

And now I head outside to smoke lest I cut a bitch.

Art Crawl!!!

I third it.

Wimbledon: What Bartoli said after the match:

"I didn't start well. It was so stressful being on Centre Court for the first time. But then I saw Pierce Brosnan in the crowd and he's one of my favourite actors so I just tried to play a little better.

And then apparently, she asked him to come back for the final to give he luck. (Or something.)

Hee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I couldn't find the book right away (Boo, B&N!). I went to the information desk and asked for it. Hearing the title brought over the other woman working the desk. "Vampires? I heard vampires!"

"It's the true story of one woman's adventure in internet fandom," I say, mangling the hated subtitle.

Then they looked it up, squeed over the cover (and turned the monitor so I could see too).

When I went to buy it the guy behind the register looked down and said "Cool!"

So there you have it. Three interactions with B&N staff, three positive reactions.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm struggling so hard to keep from crying at my desk. I have that horrible lump in my throat.

I can't focus, and I've read two people's experiences purchasing the book on my flist this afternoon.

This is so ridic. It's taking me hours to complete a task that would normally take me an hour at most.

All the emotions I probably should have been feeling for awhile suddenly crept up behind me and bashed my brain in.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's all been good so far though, right?
