The Kwik-E-Mart that's allegedly in DC is actually in the suburbs, and not by a metro. (It is kind of near a bus stop, but it takes forever to get there, and I don't want to go to a Kwik-E-Mart quite that badly.)
Yeah, the one in Chicago is way to hell and gone. Feh.
I can see the firework shows from a good half dozen suburbs right from my couch. I think the views are the one thing I'll really miss with this move.
Yay fireworks!
You know what I just found out? There's a Kwik-i-Mart right around the corner from me. Like walking distance. DH's coworker wants to go there at 5 am. And he wants DH to come. Clearly he's never seen DH at 5 am.
Ooh. That must mean there's a Kwik-I-Mart near me, huh?
Burrell, I stil owe you a copy of that TV show, don't I? I'll get that taken care of this week.
Off to bed. Dilaudid typing is hard. All thanks be to Polgara, who helped a sister out.

There is indeed, ita.
Sleep well, and sorry about the ER visit.
I have a guardian angel who follows my car.
I'm coming home from work on a main highway where the speed limit is 50. Right turns on red are legal in this state, and at one major intersection there's a merge lane you can turn into to get up to speed. I don't trust my fellow drivers, and today I had it proven to me why.
I'm just entering the intersection at speed. Light is with me. White Mercedes turns into the merge lane two car lengths ahead. Something tells me he's going to be stupid. Yup.
My brakes do work, but I discovered they tend to pull the car to the left under full emergency pressure. Also I seem to be a pretty good driver in emergency conditions, because I was just heading into a full-on out of control skid the little voice said, "Let off the brakes."
And then I'm back in control and back in my lane, and Doofus in the Mercedes still has his phone to his ear as he blinks stupidly at me.
This is the best Noah picture ever: [link]
OMG. So cute.
ugh, ita. Sleep well.
Yeah, this kid looks pretty ready to go home. He's gotten so much more expressive and interactive in the last week or two. And yet, still negative age!

Plei - ha! I was just posting that. He sure looked like he giggled.

That's one heck of a grin for -5 days adjusted!
He had quite a grin after he spit up yesterday, too. Little frat boy in training. Puke and Rally!
I love those pictures! I'm never gonna get over his hair.
It's weird to think they were supposed to share my birthday.
There was no need for me to wake up at 5 am. And no need for me to try to sleep fitfully and uncomfortably until 6:30, at which point I just gave up. Ah well, I can leave early.
