Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for Noah coming home!

Art Crawl!!!

It's all humid here. In fact, last night the humidity came in and made a really lovely evening borderline too warm. It was wrong. It's not supposed to get warmer after the sun goes down.

And I'm watching tennis. NBC is delaying things. I don't know why.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

slept in - ate - walked as mac rode bike around hood (approx. 1.25 miles), now firming up plans for later and off to lunch and Target.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am a lazy lump and am sitting in my pajamas (I am usually dressed by 7:00, even on days off) and cruising the interwebs and drinking Diet Doctor Pepper. Heavenly.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Everybody seems to be enjoying their day off.

We'll probably go over to the East Bay to collect Emmett and hang around poolside at his complex and give EM some Matilda time.

Then back to the City and maybe a ramble through the park.

Nothing much planned for tonight but if we get a rare fogless 4th, I might drag him to the top of Buena Vista park to see fireworks from up there.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

In fact, last night the humidity came in and made a really lovely evening borderline too warm. It was wrong. It's not supposed to get warmer after the sun goes down.

Yes! I actually had to turn on my AC last night around 9. It just got icky. Seems to be a bit better this morning, but it's supposed to get warmer this afternoon.

I am a lazy lump and am sitting in my pajamas (I am usually dressed by 7:00, even on days off) and cruising the interwebs and drinking Diet Doctor Pepper. Heavenly.

You're up before 7 on your days off? Dear me. I have to set an alarm just to get up around 10. Since I finished student teaching and have been unemployed this summer, I have fallen back to my default pattern: sleep at 2-ish, wake up around 11. Not a good habit to get into. So, I've set my alarm for 9 and hope to start getting to bed earlier/up earlier. I got up at 9:30 today, which is good for me! Yay!

Pjs, interwebs and Diet Dr Pepper is lovely. Substitute the Pepper with iced coffee and you've got me.

Why writers need editors, part eleventythousand:

So you don't abruptly throw me out of your tale by naming one of your minor characters Kendall Jackson.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

naming one of your minor characters Kendall Jackson.

::quick Google::

Is that because of the wine thing?
