Oh, and I meant to say, "Yay, Noah!!"

So glad to hear Noah's coming home soon, Kat.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

It is good news and terrifying news. The discharge orders, though, were written for Noah but on another baby's paper. Which is no big, but it means they need to be rewritten. Apparently Noah has several meds he will be on and most need to be compounded by hand.

Life is going to be even more interesting.

Now if we could get Grace back into the flow and out of the little nothing-by-mouth eddy she is in I'd be grateful.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Exciting and scary news, Kat.

And don't forget John Foggerty's "Put Me In, Coach."

aka, the aforementioned "Centerfield."

Sorry, Jesse. I didn't realize I had skimmed past your suggestion.

Are you filled with shame? Or maybe you have other more important things in your life?

Like, I don't know, maybe a baby in your house soon? That'd be good.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oddly, Noah going home means I'll get oodles of Grace time! I'm so excited and making a reading list and rehearsing lullabys.

Um. I wonder if I should change my username, just in case more people than my mom and you guys buy it.

That'd be weird.

Mostly lurking...

Do you want me to send you some? I've got dozens and dozens of baseball songs. So does DXM, for that matter.

Oh, Hec, that would be wonderful. If you have some time when you get up, I'd greatly appreciate it. But, I know you guys are really busy right now. The shower is at 1:00 p.m. my time, so if you can't get to it by then, don't worry 'bout it.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, guys! I knew you guys would be the best people to ask!

Kat! That is such amazing news. I'm so thrilled for you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Great news about Noah, Kat!

What is even happening?

Well, that's it, then. It finally happened. Oprah Winfrey finally lost her mind and went to clown college, and now she's homeless."
Oh my word. I can't believe that's Lauryn Hill. She really does look exactly like a clown version of Oprah.

I want to be Tim Minear. Is that taken?

I want to be Joss. "She gave my cat to a fan? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!"

(wee book spoiler above)

I was holding Noah today and his doctor walked up behind me and said, "We're going to send him home today." and when I looked really startled he said, "just kidding."
Fresh doctor!
But he did write up the discharge orders. yoiks.
That's awesome, Kat.
