Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

6754 W. 63rd Street. Which I don't think is Oak Park. Looks like it's out past Midway.

I meant Oak Park Ave. Which from Google maps of the above address seems to be right: [link]

Thanks.

But I don't get that far South in Chicago that often.

For those of you keeping score at home, cheesecake slice #2 has been eated. Nom nom nom!

Shrift, I think I might suggest one of those fairly affordable 4 place-setting sets from a department store, like this or this. It'd help keep them from having to eat off paper plates at home until they get around to replacing everything.

Now tagless for your comfort.

And here I am cheesecakeless! ::sobs::

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'll be heading out of here in about 15 minutes, going home for a quick dinner and changing my shoes and feeding the cat, and then over to B&N for my first real day of working. On my feet for four hours--um, yay? Oh, well, at least the first paycheck should be on the 13th...

The status is NOT quo.

Psssst....Gloomcookie...this is your conscience speaking...it's far too nice out to work from home. Screw work! Go find some friend who happens to be on summer vacation and come out and plaaaaay...She will feed you healthy snacks and drag you along on her shopping expeditions...

I wish, girl! I am actually working, sadly. We still on for Saturday?

The status is NOT quo.

Saturday is a go. We may want to go over early, though--as per usual, it's going to be hotter than hell.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I meant Oak Park Ave.

It's about 1/2 mile-ish east of Harlem. You've been to my house, right? It's the next major street west of me. Of course, 63rd is much farther south.
