Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think I may have a picture of my dad, Joe Furgeson and Terry Bradshaw in High School. I need to make a phone call tomorrow.

I'm feelin' ya, ita. I'd like a day to decompress.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've done fuck all this weekend, is the sad thing. I just need more fuck all.

Two days, though. Just gotta do two days and I get another shot at hibernation and regrouping.

48 hours isn't that long, especially if I get to sleep through some of it.

Which I should totally be doing now, except not sleepy.

Me neither. I keep going through the stuff I brought back and going "Really?!? I wonder if..."

And honestly, I mostly hung out with family. It's just the driving and the emotional tiredness that's killing me.

But I really want a whole day to research all this stuff.

My head hurts. That's my big excuse for everything. Sadly, it's true.

It's just so damned tiring. And I really need to be sleeping, because Mondays are my days from hell, lengthwise.

Swouncing

Oh, ita, I hope that by the time I write this, you'll be asleep.

[Edit: we just had 3 hours of drama with the exam my students are taking today - first, the people who were supposed to watch them were 45 minutes late, then they lost two of the exam pages I gave them and we had to run and re-photo-copy, and then, they decided that me and the TA were cheating and giving answers to the students (which we totally didn't!), and we had to take a stand while staying polite and prove our innocence, so that the students' grades won't be affected. So now that I'm banned from being by their side, I went back to my computer. Sigh. But in a few minutes I'll go back to see them when they finish and say goodbye.]

[Another Edit: Aaaaand I'm gone. Have better Mondays, everybody!]

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, that sounded like a sucky start to a Monday, indeed.

I woke up with the achiness and headache and insomnia and so on, but my day should get better from here on. :: glares at day ::

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Lee! How was your flight yesterday?
