Completely unrelated, except that we were talking about at lunch. On the flight yesterday, I was sitting on an aisle seat, and the people across the aisle were a couple whose teenager kids were sitting a few rows away and kept coming up to talk to their parents, so they ended up standing like 6 inches away from me. The daughter was wearing fairly short shorts, and her mother kept stroking her thigh.

That was kind of strange, and offputting.

I went to TJ's to return the rancid meat (they didn't even ask why! I made a point to tell them it was spoiled) and somehow walked out with a huge clamshell of strawberries. Not sure what I was thinking. Now I need to get some bisquik and make quick&dirty strawberry shortcakes.

I had a strawberry muffin yesterday. Aside from being a bit startled when I realized what was in it (I'd expected blueberries) it was really excellent!

Some people prefer to make from scratch. Me? I'd have to inventory the cabinets. I'll make godzilla-scone sized cakes and freeze them and some of the strawberries.
