Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

The ocean fascinates me. And freaks me out. I'm most at home on a peak or ridge somewhere. But I still like the ocean. It challenges me,

To the other: Somewhere easy with the kidlets. t all about me I want to continue this tradition about found families. I love my biological one, I love spending time with them, but having that time, carving a space into the traditional as me not being a daughter, means a lot. I'm not married, I don't have kids. I don't plan to do any of that, and it makes holidays ..interesting. I'm the obliged one. I'm not a ward. If The Holiday needs to go on hiatus because other's lives get complicated, I'm good with that. (Man, that sounds terribly demanding, don't it?)

But I like it. And dude, the opportunity to cuddle wee ones wherever? I'm a sucker.

msbelle, that's probably mom. Goodness knows what the county PO is (I address as 88005, but that's from 20 years ago.) No idea when she sent it, except she's only slightly better than me, and...yeah. If you can't use it, pass it along.

The coaching gig is at this school. Good school in a great neighborhood with active and involved parents. Hmmmm....Downside is the commute. Upside is nothing to grade.

I wonder what we can rent for Thanksgiving. Beach house? But not on Catalina because toting Thanksgiving feast + kidlets + kidlet gear seems overwhelming. i'm putting another LAista in charge of that.

At 5:30, I fed Noah his bottle and he sucked it all down in 20 minutes. Which was amazing and cool. And then he ZONKED out asleep on Lori. It was adorable.

Robin, congratulations! That's even closer to Lori's place! Also, love the fireplace.

Yay Noah and his consuming ways! Can't wait to cuddle them.

I totally support another LAist taking charge. Easy for me to say, I'm a continent away. And I SUCK HEARTILY at planning.

OK, got to bed now.

I don't know how much of downside the commute is, but that could definitely be a make or break. Although the other stuff sounds damn good.
