That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Well, crap. I guess I better leave for class ASAP. It's not till 6, but I need to print my final project before class and if the northside floods again, it'll be ugly.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Lee, it's supposed to be much nicer by the weekend.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's still thundering out here in the NW 'burbs, but it looks like most of the rain has (for the time being) passed on. We had a lot of it, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Wow. We just got two nasty power surges

So THATS where all our power went!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I feel awful.

We all received notice of several noise complaints, and are no longer permitted in the backyard garden from 8pm until 11am.

No more tea outside in the morning, no more barbecues on the weekends.

I want to cry, and feel terrible, because we were awfully loud, awfully late.

I just wish they had given us some sort of warning before taking these measures.

I hate that. Like it's worse to ask people to tone it down and risk looking like an uptight square than to stay in and call the cops.

I'm sorry Allyson.

Wow. Not exactly my reaction to the Edwards v. Coulter dustup. Just, gah clueless much? [link]

On the main page of the blog he's got at least 3 women saying there's nothing wrong with the relative manliness of Edwards, and he keeps saying, "Nope Edwards looks bad because of this."
