Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that video. I also especially love it when anti-crossover songs become huge hits.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Worst. Comic. Evah?

Okay, seriously? That was bad. Worse than bad. I'd rather be forced to only read Archie & Jughead all my life than read another panel of that.

An aardvaark bit MY brother.

Considering the descriptions of your brother, I actually believe that.

I know, right? Pop pop goes the weasel, the weasel. Pop goes the weasel and the weasel goes pop!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It really is just disgustingly hot outside. I had to take D in for a doctor's appointment that ended up being useless but comforting (we thought his umbilical stump was going to need cauterization, but when the doc looked at it she said "Oh that's just a bit of dried blood" and wiped it off with an alcohol swab), and I have never in my life wanted a car so badly as when we stepped outside and realized it was another 8 blocks back to the subway.

We don't have A/C at home, but we've got all the ceiling fans and extra fans running at full blast so it's at least tolerable. D is happily napping in front of a fan wearing nothing but a diaper. I should try napping too but I think it's too hot for anyone over the age of 2 weeks to sleep. (2 whole WEEKS he's been here already! Woah!)

Happy birthday JZ!

It's TRUE!

And yeah, it didn't surprise me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

2 weeks? Dude. Already?

sarameg - Jun 27, 2007 8:34:31 am PDT #5038 of 10001

Man, I'd totally use a baby as an excuse for an a/c expenditure!

Especially a cute one like you've got.

Now tagless for your comfort.

2 weeks? Dude. Already?

I swear, it only seems like two days!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Can't have that baby melting, can we? much less his lovely mom!

OK, so my mom's taking care of the nephews the next couple of weeks since everyone had to be back at work and the daycare won't take the younger yet. She put T down for a nap and then discovered D had locked himself in his parents' bedroom. Imagining all the trouble he could get into that would prompt him to lock the door, she wheedled, yelled, banged on the door, calls my brother in a panic! and then finally manages to pop the lock on the door.

She found him inside, sound asleep.

I find it HILARIOUS. Especially the panic thing. Lord, we did much worse.

She's having fun.
