Um, you skipped something all right, because I'm not on a job search
Sorry, I didn't phrase myself properly - I was trying to ask Theo.

I'm pretty hot for these quote-unquote bookends, made of concrete with a synthetic rubber cover.
but he might want a shiny new bumper out of this, which would cost me money and raise my rates.
I wouldn't worry too much about it Frank. I did $5000 worth of damage to my car in February and the premiums settled to about $6 a month more than I'd been paying previously. (And actually went down the first couple of months before they figured out that I shouldn't be getting the "no accidents" discount.)

That was awesome. I wish I could have played the songs, since I couldn't think of #10 or #1, but I was super excited to read the bit about Every Little Step.
I think I need to go get lunch. This is what happens when I have breakfast an hour early.

That reminds me. The girls and I went to see The Dresden Dolls, Debbie Harry, Erasure and Cindy Lauper on Saturday. It was an HRC benefit and really cool. Rosie O'Donell and Margaret Cho were there too.
At the end, everybody got onstage to sing ABBA, and then came back for an encore with Cindy on True Colors.
As long as we're talking about music here, I saw Music & Lyrics last night: oh god, so ridic. You don't have to see it if you can imagine Andrew Ridgely meeting Drew Barrymore-- but improvised! If I blew on that thing too hard it would fly apart.

Aww, but it was cute! And that song still haunts me, I swear...
Oh, forgot to mention that I found out this weekend that my apartments have been sold. Which worries me, as I've been renting on a handshake deal since my lease ran out in 2005. I'm hoping the National Register of Historic Places listing means the company that bought the place can't come in and rennovate with an eye toward going condo, but rent increases seem likely. The bad neighborhood has kept rents way below what this nice a building could go for in a decent location, but I fear that corporate owners will just look at the bottom line asking price and not take into account the surroundings and the fact that there's been a vacancy for some time.
I think the other teams are going to start catching up with Hendricks and Chevy soon. Though I'm curious to see what shakes down this week with the Gordon and Johnson teams. Unlike the violation with Junior's team a few weeks back, it seems clear that these teams were intentionally trying to work the system to their advantage. It makes me wonder if NASCAR is going to be extra hard on them because of it.
These aren't even my cars and my heart goes pitter-pat reading it. This is AWESOME. We are slowly taking over... soon, my dears, soon t rubs hands with sinister glee we will have race talk all. over. the. board.
Watch out babies and cats! We're a-comin' and we're a comin' at 200+ mph!
