Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

It occurred to me that the BRQG might yield some excellent comic-strip material

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's not wrong of me to develop an intense dislike for someone I haven't met yet based on one email that was only marginally snitty but started "you're email...", is it?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Lee is email? You get around, woman.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It occurred to me that the BRQG might yield some excellent comic-strip material. I think I was right.

I praise your genius application of Gud's genius link!

In sort of semi-related news, A great geek pinup.

Related because that's posted by Annalee Newitz who I met over the weekend and my first comic was one I did for her and her partner Charlie who put out a transgender zine called Other.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hey, Steph, can I take sinus meds and Aleve at the same time? I've taken Aleve for my cramps but my allergies are kicking in. I'd suffer, but I have a funeral and 8 hours in a car with my family tomorrow. I can't be sick for that.
