Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Now tagless for your comfort.

About fucking time, I'd say.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, I'm so glad I answered my phone just now, because I never usually do, but it was Alan Cumming! Talking to be about AIDS Walk. Good times.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope to see Hot Fuzz this weekend.

Wait--did Lee ask, or are we just creatures of habit, and one day early. Stop messing me up.

I got a Blackberry! I'm so excited. Other people in the group think it's a tether and don't want it, but this job requires remembering so much damned stuff that I need external storage.

I have $100+ credit at Bluefly and can't decide if I should be sensible, boring, or frivolous. Frivolous includes spendy panties.

Alan Cummings NEVER calls me. *pout*

Alan Cumming wears skirts.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I like it when Alan Cumming wears skirts.

Not my fault! I wasn't even online when this started.

I need help! Long sleeved cotton tees that will probably turn out to be ever so slightly transparent, or pricey panties? Bluefly is not big with the practical.

I have to say...loving the slip wearing. If only I'd had time to get the garter belt and stockings on this morning, instead of just hose.

Well, he did kind of go on and on....

So, my parents are coming down for Memorial Day weekend, and I really should have taken over the hotel-booking situation. I don't think they actually know how to use Priceline and etc., so they got a fine place at an OK rate, but I bet I could have done better. Ah well.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think I've eaten ramen once. It was kinda gross. But I'm not much fond of noodles, anyway. In college the cafeteria had a "meal plan" where you (or your parent) could buy a book of coupons that would let you eat ... oh, I recall it came out to two meals a day at the cafeteria. The up side, essentially free food for the student, the down side, cafeteria food was rather unappealing. But, not starving! Also, I worked at the Kinko's that was in the same building as Domino's Pizza, and we ended up getting several free pizzas. Cheap pot pies and mac&cheese, yeah, ate those a lot. And Krystals! Sometimes I think longingly of Krystals... then I remember.

Also, have never seen Sixteen Candles. Don't even know what it's about. Besides the obvious.

I've been hearing a mysterious noise lately. Sounds like short bursts of machine gun fire from far away. (It isn't.) Maybe it's the neighbor's stereo or tv, but lordy. It's driving me nuts.

For me, that's either the ice maker in the fridge or the bar around the corner.

I don't think I've ever had Ramen noodles. Mac and cheese is still necessary to help get me through a day every once in a while.
