Rob spotted a bug in my code -- but there's been very light traffic since then. Kristen said they'd have to wait to be able to tell if there's much difference.

No real change there. There's still a lot of idle MySQL threads holding connections. There's nothing at all we can do about that, since that's the way they've configured MySQL on their machine.
