Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

You could even include the whole Read New-Message Center-First-Last-Recent toolbar at the bottom.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I designed the threadsucked page with the idea that it could be read offline. As such, it has no links back to the board. I kind of like it that way, aesthetically speaking, but otherwise have no strong objections to adding a link back to the front page.

One note: the link should be an absolute reference, not a relative one.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

As someone who is never, unless there's an outage, offline, and who uses threadsuck daily to catch up, it's really frustrating to not have a link back.

Edited to add: just user feedback, sorry if it sounds bitchy.

I often read threadsucks online to follow links that people post. I think people would use all the toolbar links at the bottom. Those who suck one thread at a time would click Message Center, those who catch up by searching for their name would click Recent, those who read Bitches and then everything else would click Read New.

Yes, I agree. And I don't see anything especially egregious about having a few links in a page to be read offline, to be honest!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I dunno, Angus, I'm pretty egregied.

I agree with Jon's general decision to leave out all the links for post numbers and usernames and stuff, though.

Yeah, it's just navigation back to home that I want, really.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yeah, it's just navigation back to home that I want, really.

I've been wanting one of these for AGES, but been too lazy to speak up about it.
