Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Nobody

Oh - Jess - I didn't notice the date. I had those troubles this morning.

Also - totally off topic, did you remember volunteering to count votes for Jim's proposal?

(Because we remembered - muahahahahaha)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

did you remember volunteering to count votes for Jim's proposal?

Ya betcha. I am awaiting my first ballot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey ... we place when you google "what is natlbsb".

Twice.

The first link takes you to the buffistas-like-to-hyphenate-words list. I have never seen this. There are tears rolling down my cheeks. If I was drinking something, it'd be all over my monitor.

Just a random one: can't-the-red-man-get-a-fair-shake-expressing

edited because it read to suck-y-up-y

and to add another: three-day-guest-inclusive-wedding-orgy

DX, where are we with the Natter archiving? Can I delete any more of them yet?

DXMachina - Jul 30, 2003 7:16:38 am PDT #4375 of 10000
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Natter 9 is ready to go, I just have to put it on the Archives page, but I can have that done this afternoon. Natter 10 is a mess because everyone was posting poetry with PRE tag, and it's taking awhile, so I think next I'll do some of the early Bitch threads instead. Okay?

Order's not important, really. I just want to pare the tables down as small as possible.

Just gimme a shout as each one is done, and I'll sweep up after.

Is there anything we can do to automate your cleanup, so it's not a trial?

Nah. It's mostly automated, but PRE tags mess things up a lot, because they allow long lines that would normally be wrapped to extend too far out. Plus even the ones that don't extend the window look terrible in Mozilla, so I'm trying to fix them, so it's basically going through it 50 posts at a time until it's right.
